From Doctor to Aspiring Yogi

A woman practicing yoga outdoors on a pink and white marble-patterned yoga mat, standing in a tree pose with palms pressed together in front of her chest. She is wearing a white traditional outfit, with a large tree and green foliage in the background.

After years of serving patients in some of the top hospitals in the U.S., I began to ask deeper questions — about health, wholeness, and what it truly means to live well.

That search led me to the path of Classical Hatha Yoga.

After practicing for a few years and experiencing its transformative power firsthand, I felt called to deepen my journey.

I completed 1,750 hours of intensive, immersive teacher training at Sadhguru Gurukulam, within the consecrated spaces of the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India — a rigorous process that shaped me profoundly.

Today, I choose to complement the depth of ancient yogic science with the precision of modern medicine to offer something rare: a space where transformation is personal, embodied, and real.

This is not performance-based yoga. It’s a powerful, inward process — accessible, sacred, and real.

I am here to share what continues to shape me.

Nispanna_Yoga is both my offering and my ongoing journey.

  • Classical Hatha Yoga refers to ancient, lineage-based yogic practices that align body, mind, and energy. These include Surya Kriya, Yogasana, and Angamardana — powerful yet subtle processes for inner balance and vitality.

  • Absolutely. All Nispanna Yoga programs are taught step-by-step with individual attention. Each practice is structured for safe learning, regardless of your previous experience.

  • No. Nispanna Yoga programs are educational and experiential, guided by a preventive cardiologist and Classical Hatha Yoga teacher. They support overall well-being and complement, not replace, medical care.
